WRDS is a web based data management system providing access to a wide range of financial and economic data. The University of Gothenburg subscribes to CRSP and Compustat data as well as BoardEx Academic Research Data for the Europe region. WRDS also provides access to a compilation of free access data sets.
Access is granted to faculty, staff and students at the University of Gothenburg. Click on Login / Sign Up at the top right corner in order to log in. The first time you will need to register for an account. Select University of Gothenburg. WRDS will require your University of Gothenburg email address for authentication. Your account will then need to be verified by Library staff (only available during office hours, Monday-Friday).
As for all e-resources licensed by the University of Gothenburg, use of WRDS is limited to academic and non-commercial research purposes. The right to access licensed databases and copyrighted material on the WRDS system is only for internal or academic research. You may not reveal, disclose, transfer, or share username and password information with anyone. See WRDS Terms of Use (en)
